A retired employee of Amsted Industries in Chicago, he died on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at his residence in Belle Rose, La. He was 83, and a native of Belle Rose. Visitation at First Israel Baptist Church, Belle Rose, from 9 a.m. to religious service at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 officiated by Rev. Dr. Irving Brown. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by 3 daughters, Shelia LeBeauf of La Porte, Texas, Cathy LeBeauf and Paulette (James) Joseph, all of Baton Rouge; 2 sons, Carl (Charlene) LeBeauf and Errol (Debbie) Cooper, all of New Orleans; 1 brother, Robert LeBeauf of New Orleans; 1 sister, Thelma Prean of Belle Rose. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Robert LeBeauf, Sr.; 1 son, Wilbert LeBeauf, Jr.; 1 sister, Marie Melancon. His hobby was meeting people and making friends.
