On Sunday Sept. 1, 2013, the world lost an amazing man; Stuart James Seal. Stuart was born October 12, 1947, in Chico, California, to J.R. and Dorothy Seal. Stuart served in the United States Navy as a (Ha(L)-3), "Seawolf", doorgunner in Vietnam. Stuart went on later to become an accomplished high school teacher and he touched the lives of many young students. He was a proud husband to Betty and a loving father to Yancey and Rebecca. But his greatest love was his two granddaughters; Brinkley and Emma Seal, which were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother and sister, Steve Seal and Sheral Gutherie. For those who were lucky enough to know Stuart know that he enjoyed every minute of his life. Stuart was the life of the party and could make all those around him smile with his antics. He never met a stranger and he never turned down anyone in need. Stuart will be dearly missed and he is abundantly loved. Thanks for the memories. At his request, no services will be held. An on-line guest book is available at www.harrymckneely.com.

Stuart and my dear cousin, Spike Arceneaux, were neighbors and friends. Stuart would visit at Aunt Lil's and he and Spike would make me laugh until it hurt. He was a great spirit. So sorry for your loss.

Stuart,
As a young student at Holden in the Seventies. You were a larger that life man. You were an Inspiration to living life to its fullest. It is safe to say, your zest for life lives on through the people you touched. Your Student and Friend. Our prayers are with your family.

Stuart , Say it ain't so. You were one of my first Hero's. I was part of your first Home room class in Holden in 1976. You helped guide me through high school and taught me how to be a man. I hope all is well for the family.
You truly changed my life.

The news of Mr. Seal's passing was shocking and so sad. I did not know he was sick. I have so many memories...from shop, to babysitting and playing with all his cool inventions and gadgets, to the trip we took to Bunkie for shop club. He was a great man, a lover of life, and someone I will never forget. We love you Mr. Seal! Condolences go out to Ms. Betty, Yancey and Rebecca, and those sweet grand babies.
