A retired CNA at D'Ville House and a lifelong resident of Donaldsonville, he died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home. He was 61. Visiting at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM. Visiting continues at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 421 St. Patrick Street, Donaldsonville on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 9 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Rev. Ayo E. Efodigbue, Celebrant. Interment in Protestant Cemetery. He is survived by four sisters; Elaine (Donald) Julien, Consuella Ester (George Allen), Hazel Lee Julien, and Charlotte (Thomey) Joseph, three brothers; Robert Sims, Kenneth Preston (Valerie) Sims and Leroy Sims, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. To my cousins you are all in my prayers. Weep not for your brother for he's not alone all the hurt, pain, and sorrow oh it's all gone he resides in a place where the streets are paved with gold oh so beautiful such a sight to behold when you think of him remember he wishes you all not to be sad for his new life is the best he ever had He did his best passed the test now he's gone on home to rest
