Ruth Duggan Obituary

Ruth Ladnier Duggan, 95, beloved wife, mother, aunt and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2017. She entered this world on September 9,1921 in Pascagoula, MS. Born to Ellis and Katie Walters Ladnier. Ruth is survived by her grandson, Travis Earl Duggan; granddaughter, MiMi Duggan Hammond; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Duggan and Claire Hammond; sister, Mary Scheidl; brother, Hermes Ladnier; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony Earl Duggan, Sr.; son, Anthony Earl Duggan, Jr.; grandson, Shannon Duggan; one sister and three brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, January 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Jay Avance will officiate the services.
