Paul Prejean Obituary

Paul Merville Prejean, Sr. a native of Lafayette and resident of Central, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 where he staying due to the flood, at the age of 86. He was a retired CWO3, U.S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War. He also retired from Turner Industries as a Superintendent. He was preceded in death by his parent, five children, two grandchildren and other family members. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jane Law Prejean; a sister, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family members. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5 pm- 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 10 am until funeral service begin at 12 pm. Burial with military honors will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

I worked with Paul at Nichols Construction/Turner Industries from the mid 70's till 1990 and consider Paul to be a great friend and co-worker. Paul was an honorable man of great faith and courage and could be depended on to help without hesitation. You have my deepest condolence and sympathy for your loss and pray that God will help lessen your grief and increase your memories of Paul.
