It's hard to believe he's been gone almost six years and yet his absence is still hard to accept. He was such a gentle man and had such a great since of humor. Always with a project, he rarely sat still unless watching his soap opera on the DVR. While we played cards he would bring us popcorn or share some of his delicious buttermilk pralines. He was very special.

I got to meet Mr. Buhler a few years back at a Junior Achievement Bowling function he attended with daughter Staci. The Advocate had recently printed a story about his pool playing at the time. I truly enjoyed the few minutes I got to spend visiting with him and talking about his pool playing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Words simply can hardly express how deeply saddened we are now with the loss of Mr. Buhler. Staci, Bret, Kurt, Kaye and moma Pete, please know our hearts and prayers are with you now and forever. Mr. Buhler was such a dear sweet man, a wonderful father, and a true friend to all who knew and loved him. I'll never forget him helping me get my car unstuck from the front yard, one night after a party at the Buhler's house, playing pool, and many other fond memories. God Bless the Buhler family. On behalf of the Bolton, Falgout and Grable Families. Sincerely, Julie Bolton Falgout

Have only known Carol and Pete for the last twelve years, but in every way, they were a sweet and wonderful couple....generous and kind. Carol will always remains a "gentle giant" in my eyes. He and I shared a love of yard work and good jokes which we sometimes shared on the computer. His loss will be felt by many, many people who knew him to be a man of honor and humility. God Bless, Carol.
