""In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts we will always hold a place that only you can fill."" Celie went to her eternal rest and reward on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 12:10pm, at her residence in Plaquemine, La. A native of Plaquemine, she was born in November 1925. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 6 to 9pm, with a rosary at 7pm recited by the Catholic Daughters, and visiting will resume on Monday, August 25, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park. She was retired from Bell Telephone Company and J. Supples Sons Planting Co of Bayou Goula. She is survived by her nephews, Mickey ""Rico"" Rivet and Paul Landry of Plaquemine, and Danny Hinckle of Plover, WI; also her nieces, Melanie Landry Borne (Warren) of Covington and Judy R. McLaughlin of Brusly; great nephew, Brett Borne (Margaret) of Baton Rouge; and great nieces, Leeann Borne of Baton Rouge and Robin Callagan of Brusly. Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Noemie Biehler Rivet; sisters, Dottie Barbay (Allen) of Plaquemine, Virgie Landry (""Ratti"") of Plaquemine, and Sis Hinckle (Ervin) of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Wilbert ""Bill"" Rivet (Lil), Charles ""Boots"" Rivet (Juanita) and Earl Rivet (LeeLee) all of Plaquemine. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a Perpetual Adorer for St. John. Family extends thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Gracie Shaw and Loretta James, staff of Audubon Home Health Care and Comfort Care Hospice. Special thanks to J. Supples Sons Planting Co., Father Greg Daigle, Deacon Alfred Ricard, Sue Middleton and Gwen Guillot. Pallbearers will be Warren and Brett Borne, Paul Landry, Jimmy and Darren Ramirez, Jimmy Ewing, Archie Callais and Chuck Lyons. Melanie & Paul, Tatie ws a very special lady. We only knew her for a few years, but loved her (as much as your family). She was a true "grand dame". I know that good memories will fill you all with smiles and laughter.

Miss Celie was as gracious as she was beautiful. All of the J Supple Sons family will remember her with great fondness and admiration. She was sweet, cheerful, efficient and thoughtful. We will miss her. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.
