A resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Our Lady of Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 51 and a native of Tunica. Visiting at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, Friday, May 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Saturday from 8 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Robert Joseph. Interment in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Tunica. Survived by seven sisters, Mary and spouse Fred Robinson, Christine Pope, Sarah Walker, Alberta Morrison and spouse Odell, Linda Walker, Velma and spouse Audrey Vanner Sr., and Leila and spouse Calvin Davis; and three aunts, two uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rossetta Walker. Special thanks to Port Allen Care Center and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
