A resident of Prairieville, LA and native of Baton Rouge, LA passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2013 at his home. He was 65 years old. He was a Baton Rouge Police officer for about 9 years and a taxidermist for over 40 years. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at Broussard Grove Baptist Church (The Grove), Hwy. 42, Prairieville, LA. Survived by his wife, Juanita L. Vincent; daughter, Venus Victoria Woodard and husband, Bernie; son, Erik Nathaniel Vincent and wife, Stephanie; step-son, Brad Joseph Bourque; sister, Eileen Gwen Vincent; two brothers, Jerry James Vincent and wife, Donna and Tullie Eugene Vincent; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Tullie Otis and Laura Belle Vincent. He was a member of Broussard Grove Baptist Church. Ascension Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
