Edward Higgins Obituary

Mr. Edward C. Higgins, a long time resident of Lafayette, age 86, passed away at Lafayette General Medical Center on Saturday, March 8, 2014. A private memorial service will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery on Thursday March 13, 2014. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Michael E. Higgins; and his daughter, Laura L. Ragusa; daughter in law Denise Higgins and son in law Danny Ragusa, along with his grandchildren Brandon Higgins, Erin Higgins, Ryan Gourgues, Dustin Ragusa, Collin Ragusa, Ryan Ragusa, Kyle Palmer, Misty Palmer Lusby and great-grandchildren Andrew Lusby and Kalaya Lusby, and his fiancée Judy Dwyer. He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Ada Higgins of Florence, Alabama and his daughter Carol Higgins Palmer.
