Elaine C. Roussel, age 70, was born on August 27, 1942 and passed away on November 21, 2012 at 6:15PM. She was a native of Paulina and a resident of Convent. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gaskin "Jimmy" Roussel; sons: Troy Roussel and wife Darcie; Shaun Roussel and wife Dana; daughters: Sheri Roussel and companion John; Dru Hymel and husband Wayne "Boe"; brothers: James, Norris and Jean Roussel; and a sister, Yvonne Tabb. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Wayne, Wyatt, and Kimberly Hymel; Brianna, Briar, Austin, Ava, and Addleigh Roussel; and Ambrie Duplessis. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jean P. and Cecile Roussel, Sr.; brothers: Leroy, Freddie, Harry "Jumbo", and Felton Roussel; and her sisters: Lois Abadie, Verlin, and Beverly Roussel. Visitation will be at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Visitation will resume at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, River Road, Convent, LA.
