I will always remember our fun youthful days in BTR, LA. I was so shocked when I received the call over two years ago from my family that you had transitioned. I will always treasure the last conversation we had during my visit in BTR the year before your passing. You slipped from earth to eternity - your forever home; leaving all who knew you with precious memories to treasure forever!

Mr. Elliot was a man, mentor, counselor, and friend that I looked up to. As my supervisor you was so strong as a person and kept me on my feet to keep me going. When I heard the news that you had left us I was really hurt and deep in tears. We just met 4 days before your passing during my supervision with you that week. I will always be your AKA lady and be on the move with my boys. You are in a better place now and you can rest with Lord Savior and Christ. Now the angels are watching you while you rest in peace. Love ya Mr. Peterson. You will be really missed in my book. My condolences and prayers up to the family. Stay strong! Katahri Toaston

To my dear friend and supervisor,
You were always there for me, you always have a listening ear, you motivated me and inspired me. You were my supervisor for 7 years and you were there for my oldest daughter and I just want to thank you. You will truly be missed but I know that God had other plans for you. Thank you for encouraging me and I will definitely live your legacy by getting prepared for this test again. Thank you again for showing the counselors and perspective counselors what confidentiality truly was

Elliott was a good friend and professional colleague. He tried to inspire and encourage everyone who crossed his path. Most of us who knew him were aware that he had a hat (derby) to match most of his suits or outfits. May he rest in peace and his memories live on in the hearts of all he impacted! Condolences to the Peterson family and other friends.
