A longtime resident of Mt. Hermon now residing in Zachary died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at her residence. She was 88. Survivors include 2 daughters, Judy Aucoin of Zachary and Alicia Rodgers of Waveland, Miss.; 5 sons, John Moak of Central, Joel Moak and Benny Moak, both of Mt. Hermon, Prentiss Moak, Jr. of DeQuincy and Nicky Moak of Venton; 2 sisters, Evelyn Holland of Vidalia and Gerrylene Williamson of Zachary; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Moak, Sr.; her parents, Joel Esco and Rena Dedon Riles; sister, Irma Lou Williamson; and 2 brothers, J.W. Riles and Restus Riles. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with a funeral to be held at 11 a.m. with Dr. Joe Baugh and Rev. Micah Rutland officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
