Ernest L. Hebert Sr., 82, a native of Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 9:00 am until funeral time at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am with a burial following in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Aucoin Hebert; his son, Ernest "Butch" Hebert Jr. and wife Katie; his two daughters, Tina Perkins and husband Joseph and Arleen Domingue and husband Randall; his two sisters, Marie Millet and Shirley Naquin; and five grandchildren, Blair Perkins, Reese Perkins, Tyler Hebert, Jacques Hebert, and Arielle Domingue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Hebert and Irma Blanchard Hebert; one son, Paul Henry Hebert; three brothers, Robert, Ridley, and Felix Hebert; six sisters, Pearl Simoneaux, Mae Aucoin, Pansy Cedotal, Levie Cavalier, Mildred LeBlanc, and Jeanne Talbot; and two grandchildren, Robert Hebert and Zachary Domingue. Veteran who served in the Korean War
. After returning from Korea, he attended Nicholls State University and was in the first graduating class at Nicholls State University. He was a retired office manager with the State of Louisiana Department of Labor. Landry's Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of services.
