Sending my condolences. I am truly sorry that I didn't say my goodbyes. I remember Mrs. Montgomery delicious homemade biscuits with a wonderful breakfast and the family like love I got as well as my daughter. As she would take care of my little girl while Mr. Ken and I would be working outside doing some matainence. She was always smiling and she always greeted you with love. Thats how I suspected she was to everyone. Because that is the person that I had the pleasure of meeting, laughing with, sharing a home cooked meal with, trusting with my daughter because of her own motherly love and continuous hospitality. I know she will be missed.

My sister Peggy & I have known Mrs Fannie (aka Mrs Montgomery) for a very long time (since early 1970's). She lived by our mother, Rose Crain in LaPlace. Let me tell you, those 2 were inseparable, joyful characters, great friends & unstoppable. Mama lived on one end of the street & Mrs Fannie on the other. Nothing got past those 2 ladies! Oh how I miss the good old days of so much love, laughter & friendship.
RIP, Mrs Fannie. You & mama better behave yourselves! Your work on earth was done well. Rest high on that mountain!

I worked with Fannie for several years at New River. Even as she went through some very trying times, her faith in God and her faithfulness to "her children" in Children's Church was always steadfast. She will be missed by family and friends, but we can all rejoice as we know the crown and peace she received as she was welcomed Home.
