John Lynn Ponder was like a brother to me we have been friends since 10th grade , played football together at valley forge academy , i was his best man at his wedding, went to alot of concerts together in the 80s ,and he was a big part of life growing up ,he will always be a fond part of my childhood memories, so instead of grieving and being sad , i choose to remember the good times and all of the funny and outrageous things we got ourselves into , R.I.P. my brother

Lynn and Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it feels like to lose a son. I have lost grandchildren and that was tough enough. I will pray for your family that God will give you peace that only He can give. Rest in the assurance you will see him again.

He was one of my best and dearest Friends. It was my Honor to call him Brother and have him do the same. It is very rare to meet someone in your life that is so full of life and made so many laugh. He was truly a great man known by many. He will be sadly missed by all that truly knew him. Rest in Peace my friend and my heart and thoughts are with your family!!!
