Leo Joseph LeBlanc

Heaven has a new mail man, Mr. Leo passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the La. War Veterans Home in Jackson. A resident of Plaquemine, he was 80 years old and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired mail carrier with 32 years of service, delivery man with Plaquemine Office Supply and an Iberville Parish Sheriff's deputy. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Monday November 11, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm. He is survived by daughter and son in law Catherine LeBlanc and Chauncey Guy; son Christopher W. LeBlanc; sister Millie Bailey; brother Emmitt LeBlanc; four grandchildren Chauncey Steven Guy, Benjamin, Rebecca and Matthew LeBlanc. Preceded in death by his wife Catherine Mire LeBlanc; daughter Merrie Celeste LeBlanc Graham; parents Edward S. and Marie Babin LeBlanc; sisters Miriam Guiterez, Penny Perez Pert, and Ruby Weber; brothers E.J. and Ernest LeBlanc. Special thanks to Ms. Linda his caregiver, Karen LeBlanc Smith, Charlene and Jookie Marix, Glenda Russ with the local VA office and Hospice Compassus. He was a member of the American Legion Post 167.
