Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church for Lilly Mae Lewis, 73, who died April 29, 2014 at her home in Youngsville, LA. Services will be conducted by Father Jason Mouton. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Eddie J. Lewis, Sr. of Youngsville, LA; one son, Kenry James Lewis; one daughter, Karen Diane Lewis of Youngsville, LA; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Wiltz of Lafayette, LA; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Lewis of Youngsville, LA; three sisters-in-law, Mary Boudreaux of Youngsville, LA, Marie Alfred of Beaumont, TX and Elnora Lewis of Beaumont, TX ; two special friends, Doris Lewis and Emma Lou Malveaux and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie J. Lewis, Jr. and Wayne J. Lewis; her parents, Joseph N. Boudreaux and Ophelia Boudreaux; two sisters, Annabelle Aaron and Yola Boudreaux and two brothers, John W. Boudreaux and Wilton Boudreaux. Special thanks to her personal caregivers: Dorothy Jimmerson, Colondra August, Lisa Jones, Myra Fontnett, Gail Lindon, Robin Prewitt and Charlotte Benoit, St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. Milton Jolivette and his staff, Home Health 2000 and Lafayette General Rehabilitation Hospital. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and will continue at St. Anne Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
