Lucille "MaDear" Anderson

A retired employee of Baton Rouge General Medical Center and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. She was 95 and a native of Dearford. Visiting at Elm Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Errol Domingue. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters, Ella Mae Smith and Dolores Anderson, both of Baton Rouge; son, Abe Whitaker and wife Anna; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a sister, a brother, her husband, Wilson Anderson; and a grandson. Arrangements by Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home, (225) 927-1640.
