To the Sisson Family,
My deepest heart felt sorrow, for the lost of your Mother. I loved her and your Dad, and will always remember growing up with your family, on Darryl Drive, but especially at the camp...She taught me how to ski, and so many other things. She was loved and will be missed. My prayers will be with all of you at this time..
Love,
Darleen Buie

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. and Mrs. Sisson were like surrogate parents to me, growing up across the street. I can't imagine my childhood without them and without having been welcomed into their home like a neighborhood orphan.

They gave to me such a genuine sense of belonging. I will miss my ‘catch-up' talks with Mrs. Sisson and will cherish my memories of jogging to get Baskin Robbins, waterskiing on the Amite, washing the beloved Corvette, and the magic of “Crazy Christmas”, among countless others.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with me and mine.

With deep sadness,

Lisa Mueller Alfonso

I came to Baton Rouge as a new cardiologist in 1975.

I am grateful to Margaret for her guidence in the heart catheterization laboratory at the B.R.General hospital in my early days.

More than this, I was blessed to be associated with her great kindness.

My wife, Barbara, and I will never forget the wonderful supper at her home with Norman and Margaret in 1976.

I was just blessed by God to have crossed her path.
