She had a life-long passion for cooking and food and was in the beginning stages of compiling a cook book of her favorite recipes. In her youth she was a counselor at Camp Gulf Park and an avid swimmer. Mem and the entire family would like to thank all of her doctors, especially Dr. Andrew McWhorter and Dr. Mike McCarthy, nurses and caregivers who attended to her.
