A native of Frost and a resident of Livingston, she passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond at the age of 80. Visitation will be at Colyell Baptist Church, Colyell, on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Friday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Craig Forque and the Rev. Bill Holifield. Burial will follow in Colyell Baptist Church Cemetery, Colyell. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Colliene Hull, Jeanine and Kevin Smith; son, Kenneth Andrew Sr.; sister, Beatrice Averett; brother, Melvin Wise; grandchildren, Dale Andrews, John Andrews, Kintina Andrews Duncan, Serena Hull, Emily Vercher, Dawson Smith, Mackenzie Smith and Mason Smith; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dawson "Jay" Andrews; parents, William and Florence Wise; and brothers, Dewitte Carl "D.C." Wise, Walter Melton "Moody" Wise, Claude Wise and Earl Wise. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Colyell Baptist Church Honduran Mission Fund.
