Nicole Fontenot Obituary

Nicole Ariel Barbosa Fontenot "Nicki", native of Weslaco, TX and resident of Zachary, LA passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at the age of 30. She is survived by her husband, David C. Fontenot; children, Megan Elizabeth and Christian David Fontenot; parents, Joe A. Barbosa and May Carol "M.C." Cochran Barbosa; maternal grandparents, Van W. and Anna Cochran; one sister, Rubee Barbosa Smith and husband John W.; one brother, Josef Dav Barbosa and wife Lillian R.; two nieces, Erin and Melina; and two nephews, Evan and Jacob. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Solomon and Dolores "Lola" Barbosa; and maternal grandmother, Ruby Bagwell Cochran. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 1 pm until Memorial Service at 2 pm. Please visit www.resthavenbatonrouge.com to leave condolences to the family.
