Quincy Craig Obituary

Funeral services for Quincy Oliver Craig will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Burial will be at a later date in Bayou Rouge Cemetery in Evergreen. Arrangements are under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mr. Craig, age 82, of Baton Rouge and Bunkie, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. He was a retired veteran of the US Air Force (Marines) having served in the Korean War and had twenty-six years of service. He also retired from Exxon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret R. Craig; one son, Rocky Craig and a son-in-law, Dale A. Aymond. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Aymond and Barbara Cook of Baton Rouge; one son, Arthur Randy Craig of Pierre Part, LA; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 beginning at 4:30 p.m. and on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 8 a.m. until service time. www.melanconfunerals.com.
