Rawleigh Charles "Saint" St. Germain, Sr., 89, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was a World War II
veteran in the Navy. While serving in the Navy he received the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon Star, and American Area Campaign Ribbon. Saint was a member of the American Legion Post 328 and Masonic Lodge Ascension 251. Saint is survived by his wife of 65years, Leana Mabile St. Germain; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Raleigh Landry, and Janel and Terry Leonard; three sons and daughter-in-law, Glenn St. Germain, Virgil St. Germain, and Rawleigh Jr., and Lisa St. Germain; nine grandchildren, Lisa and Paul Adolph, Robby Rodrigue, Nikki and Caleb Howard, Amy and Jed Marix, Dr. John Rodrigue, Rawleigh III and Alana St. Germain, T.J. Leonard, Blair and Christian Robertson, and Paul Leonard; 14 great grandchildren, Kassidy Rodrigue, Logan Rodrigue, Tristan Landry, Seth Adolph, Colby Howard, Caroline Adolph, Wyn Landry, Lilli St. Germain, Aubree Marix, Lylah Leonard, Rawleigh "Leigh" St. Germain IV, Amelia Marix, Max Landry, and Portia Landry; one sister, Violet Aucoin; and one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Gertie St. Germain. Preceded in death by parents, Anna Fournerette and Henry St. Germain; three sisters, Agnes Perera, Marion Reeks, and Vivian Wheat; one brother, Wilson St. Germain, Sr.; one niece, Shiela Gauthreaux; and one nephew, Wilson St. Germain, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. until Religious Service at 11:00 a.m. Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Mausoleum in Pierre Part. Pallbearers will be Rawleigh St. Germain III, Robby Rodrigue, T.J. Leonard, Paul Leonard, Jed Marix, Christian Robertson, Caleb Howard, and Paul Adolph.
