Severin Arnold Isaac Jr., a native and resident of Jarreau passed away at 4 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 89 and a graduate of LSU with a Master's Degree in Agronomy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in WW II and retired from the Dept. of Agriculture as a Livestock and Brand Inspector and was also a Cattle Rancher.Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland on Friday May 23, 2014 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial in the church at 11:00 am, conducted by Rev. Todd Lloyd. Interment in Chenal cemetery. He is survived by his sister, Reeves Bueche; and Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife- Virgie LeJeune Isaac, parents- Severin Arnold Isaac Sr. and Cornelia David Isaac. Pallbearers are Michael McKenzie, J. Garon, Ross Durkee, Gavin Giosa, Christophe Garon, Cole Durkee. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Louisiana Cattleman's Association. Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Mr Isaac. He would come and buy a lunch from us just about every day during the week. There was always a smile on his face when he came through the door.
Mr Isaac you will truly be missed by all of us.
