Funeral services will be conducted for Silton "Numen" Adam LeBlanc, Sr., 83, on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel, Jeanerette, with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 8:00 AM until the service time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 PM. A native of Patoutville, a former resident of Charenton and a resident of Franklin, Mr. LeBlanc died on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 4:30 AM in a Franklin nursing facility. Mr. LeBlanc was a retired Welder and worked at M.A. Patout & Son Sugar Mill and at Avondale Shipyard. He liked fishing, camping and the outdoors and especially loved his family. He is survived by his children, Peggy Thibodeaux and her husband Kevin, Wendy Bourque and her husband Clint, Sr. all of Jeanerette, Silton LeBlanc, Jr. and his wife Robin of Patoutville, Gregg LeBlanc and his wife Chevy Gosselin of Franklin, Vicki Rodrigue and her husband Maurice of Jeanerette, Eric LeBlanc and his wife Cori of Patterson and Errol LeBlanc and his wife Katherine of Jeanerette; his grandchildren, Nicole Broussard and her husband Kevin, Andrea Willis and her husband Troy, Thomas Thibodeaux, Hollie Thibodeaux and her fiance' Chris Landry, Clint Bourque, Jr. and his wife Cherie, Matthew Bourque and his fiancee' Ashley Greene, Brian and Bethany LeBlanc, Mindy, Greg, Jr., Dylan and Nicholas LeBlanc, Tevin and Tori Rodrigue, Julie and Morgan LeBlanc and his great grandchildren, Erin, Zachary, Troy and Cullen Broussard, Austin, Ryan and Madalynn Thibodeaux, Ashlyn and Alyssa Bourque, Skylian and Bently LeBlanc and Alissa Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Veronie LeBlanc; his first wife, Merlene Albert LeBlanc; his parents, Eli and Lovina Agnes Gary LeBlanc; his brothers, Vernice LeBlanc, Milton LeBlanc, Paul Hardy LeBlanc, St. Paul LeBlanc and Melvin LeBlanc and his sisters, Mary Mae Derouen, Emerite St. Germaine, Edith Legnon, Beulah Derouen, Ella Mae Picard and Lorena Eskind. Pallbearers will be Silton LeBlanc, Jr., Eric LeBlanc, Errol LeBlanc, Kevin Thibodeaux, Clint Bourque, Sr. and Maurice Rodrigue. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregg LeBlanc, Clint Bourque, Jr., Thomas Thibodeaux, Brian LeBlanc, Matthew Bourque, Tevin Rodrigue and Morgan LeBlanc.
