Memories and Condolences
for Steve Campo

Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Mr. Campos passing. He was such a kind sweet person, who I always enjoyed visiting with at the Nursery. I told him once that my Little Tina rose had perished and he was as upset as I was and gave me another one. Shes thriving in my garden and I will always remember him when I continue to nurture his gift.

Mr. Steve was one of my most favorite people ever! I never saw him without a smile on his face. Golf was his favorite thing in the world next to his love for his family. I will share one of my favorite memories. My Dad and Mr. Steve were at a baseball game at the Amite ball park, they were sitting in the outfield bragging on how fast their kids could run. That would be me and Anthony, who happened to be my boyfriend at the time! So we were in the stands and they sent for us. They gave each of us a pep talk and set us up to race. My Dad looked at me and told me he may be your boyfriend but don't you let him win! So of course I had to listen to my Daddy and I did win. Mr. Steve couldn't believe it! This is one of the many memories I have about Mr. Steve, loved him and the entire Campo family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to all, Su Ellan Moore

Stephanie and family: So sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. It is always so hard to say good-bye but you know it is "see you later". He is now in a far better place to be soaring free and high in the arms of the Lord joining loved ones gone before. Your sweet memories are his precious gifts to each of you to bring heart felt hugs and warmth to your soul in your hours of sorrow.

I was Steve's friend many years. We was once competitors in the beverage business and later became a companion before he retired. Steve was always upbeat and I never saw him angry. I will miss him. I visited Steve after he retired and brought back old memories.
I met his wife and two of his sons at several times and all were pleasant people.
