Suzanne Mann Obituary

A native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1952, she died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. James Place. She was 85 years old, a homemaker, a volunteer in public schools for 25 years and a graduate of Newcomb College. She was a member of Congregation B'Nai Israel. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 10am until 12pm on Wednesday, May 1, followed by services at the funeral home at 12pm.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lawrence Mann, Jr.; a daughter, Nancy Lee Mann of Gonzales; a son, Lawrence A. "Chip" Mann; a daughter-in-law, Diana Henry Mann; a grandson, Michael J. Mann, all of New Orleans; and a granddaughter, Amelia and her husband Curtis Halstead of Gulfport. Preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Mann Alcus and her father Irving Alcus. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Congregation B'Nai Israel, 3345 Kleinert Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
