A resident of Plaquemine for 65 years, Vonny was born in Iowa and grew up in California. She passed away May 10, 2018, at 4pm at the age of 83. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church, Plaquemine, on Tuesday, May 15, from 9am until religious service at 12noon conducted by Rev. Keith Horton. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by her son Gary Stockstill and daughter Teria Mayeaux; grandchildren Michelle, Randall and James Mayeaux; sister and brother-in-law Doris and Hector Samaniego. Vonny was preceded in death by her parents Harland and Eva Cox and her husbands Earl Stockstill Jr. and Kenneth Irwin; brother and sister-in-law Ross and Dianna Cox. She retired from AT&T with 35 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plaquemine and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She will be remembered with love and missed greatly.

So sorry for your loss! I worked with Vonny in Baton Rouge RTOC in the 80's. She was a delightful person. I know her memories will live on.
