William "Big Bill" Horvath

Age 70, a native of Ohio and resident of Ponchatoula, William passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Marine and was a diesel mechanic and retired from Rollins Leasing/Penske Truck Leasing. William leaves behind his loving wife Martha Early Horvath; daughters, Lorrie Fowler and husband David, Tracey Marcum; Jackie Ellis and husband Ken; sons, Jodi Mitchell, Michael Horvath and wife Dawn, David Horvath, along with his grandchildren, Kate and Kyle Ellis, Michael Horvath. He also leaves behind his loving dog a great dane "Daisy." Preceding William in death were his parents, Joseph and Ann Horvath. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Condolences and other information are available online at www.thompsoncares.com.
