Wilson Lynch passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Baton Rouge. He was 94. Wilson, a WWII Army Veteran, lived in Prairieville for the past 40 years, and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his lifelong friend and companion Leona Lewis; sister, Marie McCallum; nephews, Eldon Wallett and Davy Johnston, Jr.; nieces, Jo Ann Hillman and Elvie Brady; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamp Lynch and Cordellia Funderburk Lynch; sister, Eunice Wallett; and a brother, Furman Lynch. Visiting will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 9:30 am until funeral services at 10:00 am. To honor his wishes of being buried near his parents and brother, burial will take place on Saturday at 2:30 pm in Comrade Cemetery, Hutton, LA.
