Carl Arthur Deroche entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born in New Orleans on August 27, 1931. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Patty" Burg Deroche. Loving father of Robyn Ann Deroche, Carl A. Deroche Jr. (Eileen) and Kelly Jean Deroche. Loving grandfather of Leonard Morse, Ryan Morse, George Werner, Brittney Werner, Caroline Deroche and Claire Deroche. Great-grandfather of Anna Morse, John Ryan Morse, Ella Werner and Hudson Morse. Brother of Ona D. Escott, Clyde Deroche, the late Ellis Deroche and Atha D. Chevalier. Son of the late Florence Bech and Tensazy Deroche. He was a veteran of The Korean War and a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He graduated from Loyola University and was a retired administrator of Orleans Parish School Board. Special thanks to the staff of Notre Dame Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, LA 70001, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
