Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at a 1:00 PM Catholic Service in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Paul George Bodoin, age 64, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at his residence in Milton surrounded by his family. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Milton, Louisiana. Deacon Cody Miller, of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Lector will be Stephen Pfister. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, will sing for the services. Paul George was a native of Broussard and lived in Milton. He was drafted and served in the US Army from 1969-1971. He worked for the family business, Ernest Broussard Water Well Service for over 40 years. He loved the simple life and spending time at the farm. He had a passion for sports and played softball and bowled for the Knights of Columbus for many years. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen Broussard Bodoin; one son, Adam Paul Bodoin of Milton; his daughters, Casha Bodoin Pfister and husband Stephen of Destrehan, and Micah Bodoin Foret and husband Jason of Broussard; four grandchildren, Evan Pfister, Sydney Pfister, Logan Foret and Ryder Foret; two sisters, Marie Bodoin Trahan and husband Roland, Juliette Bodoin Hayes and husband Jay; sisters-in-law, Trudy Broussard ; brother-in-laws, Clayton Broussard and his companion, Anna McKeon; Steven Gael Broussard; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Paula Reaux Bodoin of Broussard. Pall bearers will be, Donnie " Joe" Gautreaux, Dwight Broussard, Roger Viator, Clayton Broussard, Robert Viator , Glenn Broussard. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 8:30 AM until time of service. The family would like to give special thanks to Trudy Broussard and his many friends and their wives, the Michael B.
