On Monday, July 28, 2014, Robyn left the embrace of her loving family and into the presence of our Lord. She leaves behind her loving parent, Harry J. and Launa (Hoskins) Smith, and her sweet sister, Mendy A. Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Agnes (Lavergne) Smith; and S.T. Hoskins and Clara (Ratcliff) Hoskins. Born January 5, 1974, a resident of Baton Rouge and a graduate of Broadmoor High School; Robyn passed away at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans following a lengthy illness. She participated in several Special Olympics sporting events, was an avid LSU football fan, and a lifetime member of Lanier Baptist Church. She was a kind and gentle soul to all who were blessed to know her.Visitation will be held at Lanier Baptist Church, Friday, August 1, from 5-8pm; and again Saturday, August 2 from 9am until the funeral service at 10:30am with Mike Ferguson officiating. Interment on Saturday, August 2 at 2pm at Hollywood Cemetary, McComb, Miss. Robyn will be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, her church family, and her caregiver, Beverly Flood. Donations to the Smith family sent in care of Lanier Baptist Church, 4851 Lanier Drive, Baton Rouge, 70812 are requested in lieu of flowers.

Dear Harry J. and Launa (Hoskins) Smith, and her sweet sister, Mendy, Randy and I were both saddened by news of Robyn's passing. She was a joy to be around at our Bible Study meetings, and we will remember her sweetness, kindness, and loving ways. We'll miss her hugs!
