Vincent Frederick Kuetemeyer, 72, of Monticello, passed away at 2:25 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014, at his residence. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Winder officiating. Private family interment will be held later. Vincent was born May 3, 1942 in Chicago Heights, IL the son of Vernon Albert and Wilda (Royall) Kuetemeyer. He married Delores Conner on May 19, 1963 in Cisco, IL. Survivors include his wife; Delores Kuetemeyer of Monticello, daughter; Gail Anne Kuetemeyer of Monticello, son; Scott Frederick Kuetemeyer (Michelle) of Lafayette, LA, grandchildren; Emily Conner, Jeremy Vincent, Spencer Frederick, step-grandson; Gabriel Jacob Chustz, brother; Alan Kuetemeyer of Rochester, MN, and sister; Jo Ellen Baskerville of Syracuse, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 brothers (Greg and Bruce Evan), and 1 sister (Martha). Vincent was a retired Professor of Industrial Technical and Vocational Education. Vincent received his Doctorate from Texas A&M University in 1972 and taught at LSU for 27 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #58 AF&AM, Kiwanis Club, served on the Monticello City Council and was an Eagle Scout. Memorials may be made to the . Condolences may be sent to the family at
