Albert "Al" D. Everett, 81, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017. He is predeceased by his mother, Rosia, and father, Albert Dewitt Everett; one son, Nathan Everett; two brothers, John W. Everett and Earl Ray Everett; and two sisters, Agalice Morgan and Milburn Powell. Albert is lovingly remembered by his soulmate and best friend, Gayle Landry; his sister, Viola Nichols; his two sons, Albert "Scooter" Everett and Curtis Everett; his grandchildren, Chris Everett, Jonathon Everett, David Everett, and Albert "Trey" Everett; and his great-grandchildren, Leilani and Beaux. He was born in Boyce, LA in 1935, graduated from Oak Hill in Elmer, LA in 1953, and went on to become a successful businessman located in the Baton Rouge Flea Market. Al spent his spare time enjoying his western novels and listening to his favorite Hank Williams albums. The funeral service will be held at Nichols Cemetery, Gardner, LA on November 18, 2017 at 12:30 pm with Luster Hayden presenting the Eulogy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nichols Cemetery c/o Mike Nichols, P.O. Box 237, Georgetown, LA, 71432.
