Homemaker, resident of Baton Rouge and native of Maud, Oklahoma, she passed away November 9, 2012 at her residence. She was 83. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Survived by her daughter, Janis Berniker and husband Freddy; sons, Larry ""Twiggy"" Castello and wife Doris and Jeffrey B. Castello; sisters, Shirley Brown and Donna Baker; brother, Thurmond T. Willard and wife Geneva; grandchildren, George ""Chris"" Castello and wife Penny, Melissa Hines and husband Britt, and Casey Castello and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren, Bernard and Chloe Castello, Ashlee and Jacob Shreve, Londyn Hines, and Leo Castello. Preceded in death by her husband Bernard L. Castello, parents, Albert Willard and Blanch Vaught Willard; grandson, Ricky Berniker. She was the Istrouma High School Homecoming Queen of 1946.
