Alyssa Chavers, 26, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2017 at her home in Central, LA. Alyssa was a free-spirited soul. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Alyssa didn't have any children but her dog, "Baby Girl", was her child in her eyes. She loved to laugh and smile. She was so full of life and had a beautiful soul. Alyssa will truly be missed by her friends and family. "When she was transformed into a butterfly, the caterpillars spoke not to her beauty but her uniqueness. They wanted her to change back into what she always had been but she had wings.' - Anonymous She is survived by her mother, Marty Chavers and Marty's husband, Ridgway MacArthur; her father, Tim Chavers and Tim's Wife, Roseanne Erwin; brother, Josh Chavers; as well as her uncles, Wayne, Danny and Tim Garrett and aunt, Pat Ory, and also her close childhood friend, Amanda McCauley. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jenna Chavers and brother, Michael Chavers; her aunt, Kathy Garrett, maternal grandparents, Melvin and Millie Garrett and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Edith Chavers. There will be a celebration of Alyssa on May 20th, at 1 pm. Crawfish, Jambalaya, and Oysters. 9998 Hooper Rd, Central, LA 70818. Please bring a memory. Sodas will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own beverage. Everyone who knew and loved Alyssa is invited.
