The grandchildren include Shannon, Cass, Kate, Jake, Larkin, Colin, Meghan, Patrick, Chase, and Maggie. She also has 13 great-grandchildren. She offered a few life lessons: Read to your children, get a useful education, learn to play music, all adults need to make a living, wear clothes until they wear out, if you're a female dress like a female and if you're a male dress like a male.

She was my 2nd grade teacher. I loved her so much and thought of her often. She taught us sign language, taught us how to plant a garden. She was kind and so dedicated. She changed my life. I sure wish I had looked her up to tell her that. Blessings.

Mrs. Dooley was a blessing! I am privileged to have so many fond memories, I cannot list them all. One I remember was the instruction for the entire class to sit quietly after every fun and hot recess. So we would "cool down". And, I think my year was the fist year that classroom had Central A/C.
Her gift to each student was making you feel like you were her only student, even if you had to wait in line at the door for an "ear" kiss.
May the Lord bless your family now and always.

To the family of Ms. Dooley, I am so sorry for your loss. I went to Villa Del Ray and I was in her 1st grade class. She was such a caring and sweet lady. I was telling my children about her the other day because I hoped that they get to have a teacher just as good as she was. The fact that I can remember and talk about her today is evidence that she made a significant impact on me as a youngster. I'll be praying for your family...

She was an awesome teacher. She was my kindergarten teacher and I can still remember anticipating the squeaky kiss in the ear before we left class in the afternoon.

I loved Ms. Dooley! She taught several of my family members, including my sister. She was such a sweet lady! Though I never had her as a teacher myself, she made an impact on my life. I will always remember how she would sign our yearbooks with the capital "O" with the smiley face inside. :) My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time.

Oh how I loved Ms. Dooley! I had her as my teacher in first grade in 1970-71 . What a loving lady she was. I still have my Christmas Santa boot that she made and gave us for Christmas of that year. I cherish it and smile every time I put my decorations out each year. It's a staple that always gets displayed. I live in Georgia now so I will not be able to attend the services but know that she is in my thoughts and I pray for comfort for the family.
