A native of Plaquemine, departed this life on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Visitation will be held at the Second Baptist Church, 24830 Railroad Avenue, Plaquemine, LA on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Religious Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Roger Arvie, Jr. Interment True Friend Cemetery. She is survived by three sisters: Earldean (Roger, Sr.) Arvie, Mary Ann (John, Sr.) Clay and Connie (Lester) Moore; three brothers: Eli (Linda) Johnson, David Johnson and James L. Johnson; brothers-in-law: Sherman (Linda) Carlin, and Andrew Randall; sisters-in-law: Philicee Carlin, Ida Mae Johnson and Cheryl Johnson; three God children: Earldean Arvie, Stephen Randall and Andrea Randall Bennett. Preceded in death by: her husband: Horace Carlin; parents: Rev. Colonel Johnson, Sr. and Lillie Askins Johnson; four sisters: Ethel Susan Johnson Randall, Julia Johnson, Evelyn Johnson Arnold and Lillie Johnson Harris; three brothers: William Johnson, Sr., Dr. Colonel Johnson, Jr. and Spencer B. Johnson; two sisters-in-law: Annette Carline Butler and Juanita Carline Butler. Services entrusted to Pugh's Mortuary, (225) 687-2860.
