Our family has suffered a loss, That words can not express. She was a sister, daughter, and aunt, Who always gave her best. Aunt Annie never said no, She was always there. Not having her around, Is going to be hard to bare. But we know you're in heaven now, With your mom, dad, sisters, brother, and nephews Jimmy and Mark, And you will always be in our hearts. Goodbye Aunt Annie, You will forever be loved. Another Angel in heaven, To watch over us from above. Annie Mary Grasso, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday, 11/09/2013 in her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 80. She was very much loved by her family and was an excellent caregiver to many of her family members both present and past. She enjoyed playing the slot machines and was generous to her family when casino luck came her way. Her trustworthiness and loyalty was evident in her daily life. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mary Grasso; sisters Mary Savoie, Tina Grasso and Myrtle Grasso Porter; and brother Phillip Grasso; and nephews Jimmy Betts and Mark Crafton. Pallbearers will be Joe & Phillip Grasso, Bobby & Todd Crafton, Joey & Jeff Porter, and John Harris & Billy Mills as honorary.
