"At this time, what moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too special to forget" -Unknown
Ashley will be deeply missed.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I am deeply saddened by the loss of a good and dear friend. I have known Ashley for a long time and we spoke almost daily. He was a good friend. He was very much admired and loved by so many. He always went the extra mile to make sure his customers got the best service and products on time. I remember on one occasion he personally drove over 100 miles to bring me some wire for a job. That is just the kind of dedication he had. We will miss you my friend.

Yes Sherri, you "lost your rock ", however God has blessed you with the gift of memory. Use this gift to fill that void in your life. Olivia, your Dad was so proud of you. Going " away" to college, being on your own and hitting a home run in your studies. The last time he and I talked he went to great length to tell me about you. He had that special smile in his eyes and the more he talked the more excited he became. Caroline, you were special to your Dad. He would say when we were talking about you " that's Caroline " and he would just glow. Your Dad set a great example for you of how to live your life. He was a Godly man who loved the Lord and cherished his family. His " girls, Sherri, Olivia, Caroline " were his life. I give thanks to God for placing Ashley Bridges in my life.May we never forget this compassionate, loving man who reached out to many in need and gave 110 % to his job. What a role model as a husband, father, friend and fellow worker. May God bless his family.

Sherri and Girls....How does one say how sorry one is when we have wasted all these years and spent all these days with little or no connection with the family of ages past....Oh ! How broken is my heart !!!
My last memory of you all is when you drove that big old bomb of a beautiful car out of Gene's driveway and I made you promise that you would come to Greenwood MS to see this part of your family that you have not known for years and years past !!!
Oh, how little did we know...how little did any of us know how brief the count would be before we lost one so very beautiful and precious to us...
In years past Sandi and Gene and my husband Dexter and my precious Mom who will be 96 in just a few days would make our way from Greenwood MS to Zachary to the Hinterland where we
Deltonians knew NO one. We never heard of the land where you lived...
Aunt Myrt introduced us to shopping in your part of the world....and God bless Mama Bridge's heart...There was NEVER a more Godly saint than she !
Oh....I just want to sit with you and share stores of your family that I am so afraid you will miss !
Beautiful sweet young mother....Precious sweet adorable young ladies !!!
How I do wish that this was not the occasion for my writing but please accept my deepest condolences and my fondest love of each of you...
And I will sign off now in love from Cousin Carolyn....Your Daddy's wildest running buddy....Carolyn
