So very sorry to learn of Mrs. Avis's passing. She was a very sweet lady. I was her insurance agent with Midsouth Insurance. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time. She will be sorely missed.

I worked with Avis at Dow Chemical for many years and we shared many good times together. I always tried to convince her to adopt me and she would just laugh. She bragged so much about her nieces and nephews whom she held very close to her heart. Yes, she loved her God and I am sure He is welcoming her into his loving arms. Rest in Peace and well done faithful servant.

You're beautiful and lovely Avis and now you're at the Lord's Table with a white tablecloth. That is how I will remember you. Love, Janice
