Dear ones,
I am so saddened to learn of Barbara's passing. She has been a part of my brother, Hal Phillips, life as long as I can remember. She and Bailey would have dinner with he and Tony Clesi very often. I have spoken to Tony and he is ill and unable to attend the services today but he is very sad to know of her passing also. I know heaven just got a lot brighter with her arrival. She was one of a kind, always gracious and loving. My prayers are with all of you.

Bob, as you know from our recent communication, Gloria and I are so saddened by your mom's passing. She was such a lovely and gracious lady. The total of my experiences with Barbara, as you well know, was on stage and some film work. My very first stage appearance with her was STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE in 1958. She had 8 years on me and taught me so much about stage etiquette and stage mechanics. Until that production my only experience had been at LSU and WBRZ. She will be so missed.
