Benjamin Lyric Gerald, 70, a veteran of the Vietnam War and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA and native of Greensburg, LA, departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Mid-City (Butterfly Wing.) Visitation at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 1414 Soro St. from 9 am Friday, Feb. 17 until religious service at 10 am. Rev. Clee Lowe, officiating. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Greensburg.
