Former owner of Betty's Place at Angola, she died Monday, February 20, 2017 at her home. She was 69 years old and was retired from Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. Memorial visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harold Edenfield. 3 daughters, Patricia Ann Dedon and husband, Mike; Paula Jean Lindsey and Sally Pope and husband, Brad. Siblings, Louise White and husband, Fred; Sarah Perrett; Ronnie Fisher Hamilton and wife, Catina; Johnny Bryan Hamilton and wife, Verlie; David Frank Hamilton; Calhoun Barrow Hamilton and wife, Brenda; Steve Lee Hamilton and wife, Mary Jane and Mike Leon Hamilton and wife Jackie. 9 grandchildren, Brittany Nicole and Samantha Nicole Dedon, Maddison Lee McDaniels, Sarah, Gracie, Clancy, Marlia, Adali and Lydia Pope. She is preceded in death by her parents, Calhoun and Alice Hamilton, siblings, Joyce Ann Morris and husband, Tommy Morris and Glenn Barrow Hamilton.
