So sorry for your loss of loved one. I scan the Tyler Paper for obits of my age and saw the Obit for your loved one. I knew him in 1953 in Seoul Korea (K-16). I was never sure of his first name, to us he was always "TEX" Widner. I looked at a copy of my very old Korea departure orders and there he was.He forever talked and had stories about his love of, "Downtown Nacogdoches". We were not close friends but if you knew him, you never forgot him. He would not have remembered me, but so many of us of that time will always remember him.His love of life to it's fullest. Korea had a way of bonding we young men.
