Brenda Arceneaux, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Carpenter House on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 70. Brenda was a retired special education teacher with both East Baton Rouge and Livingston Parish. After her retirement, she began working as an evaluator for Early Steps, which brought her great joy. One of her favorite hobbies was serving as the Arceneaux Social Director when it came to planning trips and traveling. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Will Arceneaux; children, Don J. Arceneaux (Annie), Shannon Voss (Otis), Wade Ford (Michelle); and Emily Bognar (Chris); grandchildren, London Gehegan, Chase Ford, Dillon Case, Brice Case, Noah Ford, Christopher Arceneaux, and Cody Arceneaux; sister, Clara Riemers (Don); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Thelma Morrison; and father and mother-in-law's, Calvin and Nettie S. Arceneaux. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 12 p.m. until Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
