Bryant Michael Hunt, born September 20, 1968, loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend unexpectedly joined his Heavenly Father on December 22, 2013 at the age of 45. While touching the lives of many, he was known to all for his hard work, joking nature, contagious laugh, warm smile, tender heart, and unending devotion to his daughters. A life long resident of Ascension Parish and 1986 graduate of Trafton Academy, Bryant went on to play baseball at Mississippi Delta Junior College and Tulane University before graduating from Louisiana State University in 1991. He served proudly as both a lieutenant in group 41 with the Men of Manresa and the Vice President of Mobile Air, Inc. Bryant is survived by his beautiful daughters, Brooke and Brylin Hunt; loving parents, Roy and Cathy Hunt; siblings, Stacy Hunt Picou, Brandon Hunt, and Amy Donahue; five nephews, Aaron Picou, Brennan Picou, Cameron Hunt, Canon Hunt, Zachary Donahue, a niece Callie Hunt and great-nephew Ayden Hunt. In-laws Monica Hunt, Michael Donahue, Billy Dekeyzer, Ricky Picou, Bronte Picou and Richlynn Havnear . Former wife and mother of Brooke and Brylin, Linda Mollere Hunt, and significant other Allison Ryan. Bryant was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilma Leblanc Dyer and Shirley Anthony Dyer and paternal grandfather Bruce Hunt, And paternal grandmother Ruth Simpson (ID). Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Picou, Brennan Picou, Cameron Hunt, Will Tarver, Mike Thibeau, Rob Young, Johnny Kent, and Eric Pendarvis. Visitation will be Thursday December 26 5-9pm at Ourso Funeral Home on airline in Gonzales, La., visitation will resume Friday, December 27, at 930am with a rite of passage Mass celebrated by Eric Gyan in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville and burial to follow immediately. The family would like to give thanks to all of those who have offered up our family and Bryant in their prayers through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations to the appreciated.
